AI Sharebox is designed to operate without collecting any data. Specifically, we do not collect:

• Personal identification information (names, email addresses, phone numbers)

• Browsing history or behavior
• Click data or interaction metrics

• Any form of analytics data

3. How AI Sharebox Works

AI Sharebox adds share buttons to your WordPress content that allow visitors to interact with AI platforms. When a visitor clicks a button:

1. The plugin generates a link to the selected AI platform (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.).
2. Your page URL and optional prompt text are embedded in that link.
3. The visitor is redirected to the AI platform in a new tab.
4. The AI platform may then fetch and process your content according to its own policies.

This entire process occurs client-side in the visitor's browser. No data passes through our servers.

4. Third-Party AI Platforms

When visitors click AI Sharebox buttons, they are redirected to third-party AI platforms. Each platform has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data:

5. Optional Analytics Integration

AI Sharebox supports optional integration with analytics services you may already use on your website:

• Google Analytics 4: If you enable this integration and have GA4 installed, button clicks can be tracked as custom events. This data is collected by Google, not by us.
• Microsoft Clarity: If you enable this integration and have Clarity installed, button interactions can be captured. This data is collected by Microsoft, not by us.

These integrations are disabled by default and entirely optional. If you enable them, the data collection is governed by Google's and Microsoft's respective privacy policies, not ours.

6. Data Stored in WordPress

AI Sharebox stores configuration settings in your WordPress database. This includes:

• Which AI platforms are enabled
• Button placement preferences
• Custom prompt templates
• Visual styling options

This configuration data remains entirely on your server and is never transmitted to us or any third party.

7. GDPR Compliance

AI Sharebox is designed to be fully compliant with the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Because we do not collect, process, or store any personal data from your website visitors, the GDPR's data protection requirements are inherently satisfied.

As a website owner using AI Sharebox, you remain responsible for your overall website's GDPR compliance, including any data collected through optional analytics integrations or by third-party AI platforms when visitors use the share buttons.

8. CCPA Compliance

AI Sharebox complies with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Since we do not collect personal information from California residents (or any residents), the CCPA rights regarding access, deletion, and opt-out of data sale are not applicable to our plugin.

9. Children's Privacy

AI Sharebox does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 years of age or any other age threshold applicable under local law. Because we collect no data at all, we have no means of distinguishing between users of different ages.
